The Atlantic Palace Hotel is a first-class hotel located in the historical center of Florence, near the central railway station and just steps away from the Duomo. The Fortezza da Basso and Palazzo dei Congressi are only 200 meters away. The hotel is part of an antique palace which dates back to the 1600's and which was originally an old monastery. The hotel underwent a complete restoration in 2001. In restoring it, the hotel has kept those structural elements such as wooden beams and stone arches, which maintain the old Florentine style, yet at the same time offers all the modern comforts expected. The guest rooms are all very well appointed and they feature a traditional Florentine décor. The rooms are all air-conditioned and feature a host of modern amenities, including satellite television, hair dryer and mini-bar. The Atlantic Palace Hotel is only minutes to fine dining, shopping and entertainment venues.
The hotel occupies part of an antique palace, which dates back to the 16th century and was originally an old monastery. During the restoration the hotel retained structural elements such as wooden beams and stone arches, thus maintaining the traditional Florentine style and simultaneously offering all modern comforts. This air-conditioned hotel was completely renovated in 2002 and comprises 3 floors with a total of 58 rooms. Facilities include a 24-hour reception with a safe, a cloakroom and lift access.
